This board regularly meets once a month on Sundays, after the
morning service, at the church. July and August may be excepted.
Managing
and encouraging the activities of giving financial support, time, and talent is
the core work of this board. They
are responsible for organizing and directing the annual church canvass,
recruiting leadership and managing fund raising activities, and developing
programs to encourage participation in the life of the church.
They are also responsible for assessing the aspirations and needs of the
church membership and helping people to realize the meaning of church membership
through Scriptural teaching.
The Stewardship board consists of 4 members each elected to a 2
year term. Members may serve 2 consecutive terms. The Financial Secretary is a
5th member of this board. One of the members of this board is elected to serve
as Assistant Financial Secretary. The chairperson of this board is a member of
the Executive Council.
